Activities & Events
Here are some of our wide variety of activities. Our calendar which is only available to MOMS Club® members, lists the specific activities as well as the dates/times, and meeting places. A member may attend as few or as many events as she wishes.
Book club - Discuss the month's current book while the children play.
Coffee talk - Meet at the coffee shop for some morning coffee and conversation while the kids play.
Cooking group - Make a dish to bring home or just bring the kids to play.
Fundraisers & Service Projects - Money raised always goes to a voted upon charity. Recently we hosted "Alex's Lemonade Stand" where all proceeds went to helping find a cure for pediatric cancer. Our children handed out lemonade and flyers. Everything we do involves our children.
Holiday Parties & Picnics - Seasonal events.
Kids craft - A time to make a craft with your child.
Kids gardening group - Children get to work on a gardening project, or most recently our moms and children had a service project weeding a school flower bed.
Li'l social club - This group has activities for the older children toddler to school age but all children can attend. Some activities are ice skating, roller skating, zoo trips.
Mom & Baby - This group is for younger children and is a great way to meet other moms with little ones. All activities are age appropriate for infants to young toddlers but all age groups can attend.
Mom & Tot - This group takes the kids to different activities. A couple of examples are hay rides and pumpkin picking in the fall. All activities are age appropriate for toddlers but all ages are welcome.
"MOMS Nite Out" - One moms' evening out a month where we get together to talk and socialize.
Movie group - Moms meet to discuss a movie and to exchange movies with one another.
Music group - An informal get together to enjoy music with your children.
Park days in the spring, summer and early fall. All members are welcome and this is also open to non-members to meet and learn more about MOMS Club®.
Playgroups in the fall, winter and early spring which are set up by the children's ages. This is an optional activity and not all members participate but it is a great way to meet other moms in a smaller setting. Playgroups rotate between homes and are usually made up of 4-6 moms with children.
Recipe group - Bring your favorite recipe and dish to share while the children play.
Scrapbooking - Play group for the children as the moms work on their scrapbooking projects.
Storytime - Children and moms meet to read a story at different locations.
